SIX WAYS TO MANAGE STRESS


Life can be stressful; sometimes you'll have to deal with ongoing stress positively. Stress can have a variety of causes such as family problems, job problems, financial difficulties, poor health, or even the death of someone close to you.Everyone has stress, because life isn't something we totally control. The question is: Are you managing your stress, or has it mastered you?The answer matters a lot for your health. If you're stressed often over time, it puts you at risk for heart disease, depression, and other problems.Here are some ways to handle stress.

FIGURE OUT WHERE THE STRESS IS COMING FROM
Most times when we are stressed out its always messed up because it is written all over you generally and we start feeling very uncomfortable and most people go ahead getting pissed and even angry but instead of feeling that way find out what you are stressed about, is it work, is it family, is ti your exams, is it your boss in the office, just try to figure out what it is you are stressed about. By knowing what you are really stressed about that get you closer to an organised reactions.

HEALTHY EATING
Eat healthy. Avoid too much sugar. Focus on fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein. Most times eating very unhealthy foods can make you very uncomfortable and it can bring unusual stress. Cut down the quantity of food you eat that can also help minimize stress.

TIME MANAGEMENT
One of the things that cause stress for so many people is an improper management of time. Their to-do list expands, while time flies. How often have you wished for more hours in the day or heard others lament their lack of time? But you’ve got more time than you think all you need is plan your time very well.

DO WHAT YOU LOVE
When you  are stressed  out, try doing something you love to do, it will help you relax and manage stress.Even if your job is stress central, you can find one hobby or two that enrich your world.

EXERCISE
Exercising is one of the key factor for stress management. When you  are stressed out try taking a walk, or jugging, you can even swim it will really help decrease the stress rate and also help you feel refreshed and fit.

TALK TO SOMEONE
 Don't hold all your feelings within! Discuss your stressful feelings with someone you trust who will listen without being judgmental or pressuring you to their own point of view. Even if you can't change the immediate situation, talking about it helps alleviate some of the tension you may be feeling. Supplement the verbalizing with something physical: write it out, exercise or hit a pillow.
